I'm Omar, a software developer with a strong foundation in cloud systems, backend engineering, and automation. I enjoy building practical solutions that are clean, efficient, and easy to scale.

I specialize in Go, Linux, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and building backend APIs. I also have hands-on experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions), containerization (Docker), and system-level scripting.

Right now, I'm focusing on improving my system design skills.

I like to keep things simple, automate repetitive tasks, and write code that's easy to maintain. I believe great software should solve real problems, not just look impressive.

Outside of tech work, I enjoy reading about Linux systems, low-level computing concepts, and how things work under the hood. I'm also interested in minimalist tools that improve productivity, and I occasionally unwind with video games.
